The problem every trader with an idea runs into
You have a strategy. You know exactly what dashboard you want: maybe a live P&L tracker, an options chain scanner, or a custom risk monitor. But you are not a software developer, and hiring one is slow, expensive, and they rarely understand what a trader actually needs from the tool.
Coding is no longer the barrier it used to be. I build OpenAlgo itself in Python with Flask and React, but when I am building libraries, SDKs, plugins, or one-off tools for traders, I move across Go and Rust just as often. Claude Code is what lets me do that without stopping to relearn syntax for every language. It is Anthropic's agentic coding tool. It reads your requirements, writes the code, runs it, and fixes its own bugs, all from plain English instructions. You describe the dashboard. Claude Code builds it.
In this 60 minute session, I will build a working trading dashboard live, from an empty folder to a running app, so you can see exactly how it works and do it yourself the same evening.
What we will cover
1. How to Build Your Trading Dashboard Using Claude Code A live, start to finish build. We go from a plain English brief, something like "show me live quotes, today's P&L, and my open positions," to a working dashboard connected to real market data, entirely by instructing Claude Code.
2. Why Claude Code, and Why Now What makes Claude Code different from asking a chatbot for a script you then copy, paste, and debug yourself. We look at how it reads your entire project, plans changes across multiple files, runs your code, and iterates on failures on its own, and why that changes what one trader can build alone, whatever language the project is actually in.
3. Claude Code vs Claude Desktop Claude now ships as Chat, Cowork, and Code, all inside one app. I will clear up the confusion: when the terminal based Claude Code is the right tool, when the Code tab inside Claude Desktop is a better fit, and when Cowork is actually what you want instead, for research, spreadsheets, and reports rather than dashboards.
4. What Traders Specifically Need to Know CLAUDE.md files to encode your trading conventions so Claude never forgets your rules. MCP integration so Claude Code can talk directly to your broker and data sources through OpenAlgo. What to watch for around API keys, live orders, and production safety when an AI is writing code that touches real money.

I am Rajandran, a full time derivatives trader since 2006 and founder of OpenAlgo, an open source, broker agnostic algo trading platform supporting 30+ Indian brokers, built in Python with Flask and React. Beyond OpenAlgo, I build libraries, SDKs, plugins, and tools for traders in Go and Rust as well. I have also built OpenGreeks and ExpiryTrack, and I run MarketCalls Learn, where over 5,000 traders have trained in Market Profile, Order Flow, VSA, and Python automation.
I am not teaching this from a slide deck. I use Claude Code daily across these projects, so everything in this session comes from what actually works in production, not a demo that only runs once.
